Other rates, such as a lead rate

If you're sometimes paid a different rate, such as a lead hand, charge or acting rate, add it to your job. Then pick it for the shifts it applies to.

Adding a rate

  1. Open the Jobs tab and tap your job.

  2. Under Other rates, type the rate next to Add a rate, then tap Add.

  3. Tap Save.

To remove a rate, swipe left on it.

Using it for a shift

  • On the Clock card: tap Hourly rate and choose the rate. It's used for this shift only. You can do this before you clock in or while you're on the clock.

  • Entering a shift by hand: tap Hourly rate in the shift and choose it.

Overtime, day rates and premiums are worked out from the rate you choose.

Good to know

  • Your job's default rate doesn't change when you pick another rate for a shift.

  • A raise by percentage also raises your other rates. A raise to a new rate leaves them as they are.

  • If you fix your default rate, shifts at one of your other rates stay as they are.
